It had to be reply to another post about skills but i decided to make it separate thread, after my "reply" grow in size.
...I have posted it for many, many times, and after very long time i simply lost hope that someone will change it,
then i stoped asking, complaining, expecting or waiting for anything...
I dont know why im typing it here, maybe because it had to be reply to another post
but then it turned somehow into wall of text which i decided to make into separate thread.
I dont know, because i allready understand that development team have his own point of view and plans,
own beliefs - that something work as it should and they are sure about it because they "test it" by them self,
so my suggestion will change nothing.
Its like - "everything is so cool, but players always want more and more..."
I no more ask for anything, i just want you to know :
Game theoreticaly is good at whole.
Theoreticaly - meant, if one login to game then try and test each skill, one by one - it just work.
The problem is that - "it just technically works" when you stand in safe area and move camera around,
when you technically test each skill one by one in friendly environment on one weak mob",
but in real game situation - true gameplay - which is typically almost always "on edge of character / team strenght limit"
half of skills does NOT work as expected due to glitches, lags or wrong "skill rule construction",
which renders these skills completly useles, leave player in hard situation with 1 skill, zero fun factor and frustraction.
(example rule "skill is canceled when player is hit by mob", render many skills of continuous-nature
to 100 percent useles in real gameplay, because player simply-cant-use-them as they are always canceled,
when surrounded by 10 or 20 mobs and constantly getting hit by them
Example of such skill can be Magic Musician which is continuous nature AOE skill of Bard with lute,
it can never be used succesfuly by Bard if alone which leave Bard with Lute as only class without AOE :( )

I wonder why its so hard to get new players to this game.
I have invited myself over 100 players (i can see his progress with my recomendation system),
and only fiew of them level to level 20-30. Why ? Is this game really no fun to play ?
I dont know, i always liked it here.
I will tell you, how my own game experience, looks like nowadays,
then maybe you can evaluate it, if its fun or not, or whats wrong in there.
Story : My common day in SO :
I login to game...
Hm, not many people but ok, im in best and active guild so theres um... 12 guild members online at least...
Have someone to say "Hi" to...
- "hi everyone!" (they reply) hi hi hi hi... nice...
Im level 60 so theres no quests for me (no xp gain ect) No events at the moment also...
Maybe ill check whats in auction... hmm not much. Mails ? .. hmm... ok whatever ^_^
After hour maybe walking without aim around the game, when allready got bored from doing nothing,
seems like others getting bored too because someone got idea "maybe we make team and go to cave ?".
Ok, but were all level 60's so most of people decide they skip quests as it give nothing and go for bosses.
(ow.. personally i would do some quests like guild quest, but i will not push if they have no time... sigh)
After 3 cave runs (why im doing it... no experience points, no belief in drop, maybe just want to do anything),
something purple droped from boss... Oh wow... Cant be, and i got it, oh lucky or what...
...Its not my class so i dont really need it. But could sell it maybe ?...
Looking around.. No one want it even for free because its "bound after equiped".
if someone would put real money to it, to identify it or enchant, but later would find something better,
he will cant sell or even gift to friend previous one, so its like wasting money on it... Ok trash... I drop it too...
Again lost alone... Hmm... Gota do something. Something fun...
Maybe i try if i can kill at least, first boss in cave alone for fun... Ill go into my level cave ofcourse,
After fiew minutes of extreme battles with fiew mobs (lol) i found that cant even reach first boss alone,
I can feel like this kind of fun would not be even possible in +10 set armor.
Then what to do. Sit... Im sitting... Everyone are busy with his things... Its boring to sit,
If not "fun of cave soloing" then maybe i try something standard hmm...
Energy quest in Cloud Summit !! But, Its boring after 5564723654 times... Whatever !
Gota do anything and Cloud Summit give energy points while its easy.
I enter Cloud Summit solo and kill mobs... One by one because im Bard with Lute so have no AOE... (do i have ?)
After i leave cave someone ask me "How long it takes for you to finish Cloud Summit ?"
Well, long time because i must kill every mob one by one... and when you run, they slow you down, and, and...
I notice other clases can just lure many mobs and kill them fast. They finish Cloud Summit 3 times
before i even finish it one time... I try do the same...
No... If i lure 10 mobs, there is no-way to use Bard's "Magic Musician" skill because its always canceled
when mob hit me...
No choice, being level 60 i gota beg someone to help me kill nob-low-level-mobs
or do it alone hard way kiling them one by one which takes hours
because my "cool AOE" Magic Musician is cool only in description and work (if lucky or test) against 1 low level mob. I came many times in the past to forums here and ask if its possible that you would like to listen to us,
and fix some skills like Magic Musician which are simply useles if they are able to become canceled by mob hit,
but it was never changed...
I leave Cloud Summit and feel like i have allready just enought of this "fun factor" then log off :(
I like the game and believe in it, I tought Soul Order will be better than Talisman Online,
I advertise and invite others here, but somehow i begin to lose hope it will be something better
than "technically correct game" but practically having no fun factor, due to many things as a whole.
- Everything is bound which lower items value to zero,
- Skills looking good in description and work in test but wont work in real combat,
(what is meaning of Magic Musician skill which can never be used in real combat due to always being canceled, Bard with lute is practically weakest character in game without AOE skill.
All he can do on level 60 is sit or beg others for help...)
- There are many glitches which accumulates itself along with skills make combat even more no fun
(like if player use combat potion betwin skills then after this, no skill can be started for 2-3 seconds)
- Why does some classes have nice and easy to use 1 keypress skills without need to even aim at target
(can press TAB-1-2 which everyone can do in 0.2 second), while other classes have very complex to use skills which require keypress, then mouse aim in rite direction, (ussually miss due to different target possition shown
by client than real target position on server (lag), also click interferences when there are 20-30 characters
or mobs on small area (cave) where one must click to aim) then again mouse press, then skill work in cone area
(usually miss) plus are easy to cancel ? (eg. Bard skills again) Its not possible to do it fast including wrong timing
because of lag often make it fail.
It not only not make some classes equall in PVP but it require 3x more manual skills and timing than simple TAB-1-2-3
done by other classes same time with closed eyes.
Cant it be same simple for everyone ? Just click skill and it AOE around char and not cancel, ect ? (...sounds too good, sigh)
- Characters are weak and cant solo anything of his own level even in maxed out gears,
- Max level players dont really have much to do, nor even having fun from being max level player
as theyre still not stronger from others and cant solo or do anything others cant. (ye ye they can kill chicken in 1 hit...)
Game "works" but where the fun factor gone ? ...

- is lack of content ( they think that they know all about the game..)
- exp rate is changing and progres of lvl becomes more slow
- items are many..and also u dont know their rank/grade , for example same items orange to can be of grade: poor, normal , outstanding and excelent
- multiclient and lag ( nowadays, i guess, most of ppl have 2 PCs, if not at least GM should let only 2 clients to be able to be opened..Many players are with few chars 3,4 and in this days was someone with more than 20 chars log in..The game is lame, when u see it happens so...!!!
- effects bad ..and sometimes u see them and sometimes not...and skills arent made well for example bard has for fan an aoe which hits 3 mobs and delay 30 sec, thats lame..., if they wanted to make only for 3 mobs, perhaps just 1 sec or 5 sec delay, if not for 6 mobs at delay of 30 sec
, also warrior activate skill is annoying, cuz u keep miss and skill doesnt remeber to hit until u really hit once and also skills dont have shadow to show that can be activate or not, cuz of lack of energy or not....
- bad dice class, no offense but that sucks a lot...a reason is ppl they demand dice class but some refuse cuz they need it for other of their class or to sell it..they dont want to share if they dont want....
wheres the free will...??? Awful dice than is into TO....( in TO is bad cuz ppl change fast dice if drop is good , and also if someone DC it isnt funtion to re-dice)
TO is much grater than SOO, it has community very helpful , very interactive (they arent afk in town cuz are lazy lvl and prefer to sit and get exp..), the item accomplish /aquire very satisfing, skill effects more good and uniq skills per weapon,etc
the only thing which SOO is grater than TO is just cuz has free view, away function , 4 class with no restriction for weapons (only bard has restriction fan or lute), faction
In SOO i expect to improve at least identify from Blacksmith cuz are many stats to identify and ppl should choose which stat they want to identify first and to improve the info about item quality from items and to make skills reasonable..i guess this it will help game a lot..
Suggestion--> SOO , put for every item , especially for cash shop, the info type: Consumable or Item
Consumable it means u activate and u lost it after use....
Item: u can add and remove anytime....
for example: a bag inventory i though is consumable, and about bag bank i though i can add or remove anytime....lol....and make them tradeable cuz i doubt want many ppl to buy if they have many chars...
TPlayer i completely agree with you and would like to also point out the games enhancing system is causing players to quit and extremely frusterates everyone else. If its 50% chance of success for +4 thenWHY DO I FAIL 5 TIMES IN A ROW?? I understand enhancing cant be made to be easy or everyone will be walking around in +10 gear but its ridiculous when the success rate the blacksmith claims is no where near the actuall success rate for enhancing. Plus the stones and horseshoes are quite expensive on the Shop. And for people buying sp to purchase them it becomes too expensive.But then again if SP wasnt OVERPRICED then it would not be such a big deal.It should not cost 30$ for one item that stays bound to the character once its used... (talking about thunder soul). So i think you should either lower price of sp ormake enhancing work with the claimed success rate....
yea, this game is just about done pretty soon. ive been here since beta, never quit, on at least 8 hrs a day
slowly and slowly less and less lv 30+ quit because it just loses interest and to make it worst, less and less new players are coming in, just people doing recommendation system on themselves to get the sp - biting the company in the ass
game is going to implode and die off pretty soon, unless there is like a +50 lvl increase to keep us occupied for a damn long time. this +10 lvl trash each "big update" isn't cutting it
im sorry but i've given up on the game that had high expectations from open beta release,and thats coming from the longest playing player
-= only +15-20 lvl update in 2 years =- and it takes 1-2 weeks to cap. this game is going nowhere anytime soon if the update coming up is only +5 lvls just like the previous updates
Soul order doesnt have online multiplayer gaming experience.Because this game only is bound to few things.
They said the level cap patch was gonna be released for christmas last year.But LOL i dont think they would release it even for this years christmas.If this game had new level cap/guildwars/pvp/new events/ fair drop rates.etc etc it would be awesome.But do they Gms really listen to us?I doubt it.
Lot of pro players have already quitted,only few vew stay here now.Same boring events with not much good rewards,you do dung runs like 50 to 100 times and basically the purpose of gameplay itself is ruined[since players are only bored with multiple dungeon runs rather than having fun].
On top of that some players from TO give some bad comments on some usefull suggestions i post which is even more frustrating.
The GMs really need to do some major changes but i dont really know if even look into our suggestions.As we see this game is slowing losing players.
Your part on "My Common Day in SO" really flashback my memories of my days playing this game.
The one thing that ignite my urge to login is, the opportunity to meet with the friends which I knew in/from this game.
I still play, now venturing into levelling up characters of all classes. Trying to keep my self from getting bored by trying all classes. I have got three lvl 60 now, all of which i still plays...^^. Depending if realm needs which charater, party needs which charater...i will use them accordingly.
I really hope GM would save this game, coz hate to lose talking to my friends in this game. Kinda know them like 2 years plus ++.
example, im sure there is thousand suggestion about guild territory here, from players that already quit and newbie (one again new below this thread)
but what we get is new pet and new mount
if this important suggestion still not solved how can we suggest other suggestion that come from new system, etc ?
second is less competitive and challenge
there is no raid, invading, any other reason for PvPing from other faction, all only depend on daily event time (not even by GM)
and one mostly people do is just busy multiclienting until they realize why many 60+ leaving?
