OK so this is just a small guide about aggro some people dont understand the spells and how they work

what is aggro
aggro or hate is the term used in MMOs where NPC(non playing character) picks to attack the players who gains more hate (aggro)
aggro is calsulated by many things the relative strength of the plaer vs the NPC the damage done to the NPC buffs and heals.
Aggro can be gained and can be lost with spells which players have to there use.

MONK
monks are main tankers they are ment to take damage for the team. The monk class are there to take the aggro from the NPCs so that the teams dose not need to take the damage but more inflict it.
Monks have 2 aggro skills
1 is called mercy (which is from the Buddha Bone) what this dose is increase 143 hate value with every attack (30 min time limit )
2 is called sacrifice (also from the buddha bone ) what this dose it pulls all the NPC that are in the area towards the monk for 10 seconds
The staff of the monks has Fatal Bash - which increases aggro with every shot done.

Assasins
asins knows to be the secondary tank they can take damage but not as well as monks.
so now asins have a spell that also has to do with aggro but due to asins not being a main tank they dont have increasing spells but decrease spells
asins have a spell called puzzling array ( which is from the array flag ) what this dose is is decrease the NPCs hate value by 134 with every attack(30 min time limit ) this buff dose not decrease damage it decrease hate and that only
the only way way asins can hold aggro in large groups is with the chain simitars

Wizards
wizards also have a Arrgo spell which is called silance (from the warm jade) what this dose is decrease the hate value by 1741 this spell is instant and has a cool down of 15 seconds
wizards have much higher DPS than the monk (monks DoT is much stronger than wizards (Staff)) or asin so the spell should be uses as much as it can to insure no aggro is taken

Fairys and tamers
Tamers 1st
tamers is i hight DPS but no spells is given to decrease the Arrgo from the NPC when a tank is attacking the NPC (only known thing to me is there pet that takes aggro away from the tamer to damage is drawn towards the pet)

Fairy yes fairy can take aggro in 2 ways
one normal DPS fairys can attack and take aggro but the most not most seen is heal aggro

for example if a fairy goes to a cave with a asin say level 50 and fairy is level 73 the asin dose say 1k damage ever 2 seconds( taking crits out of this account ) the fairy dose 700 heal ever second the math can be seen in time the fairys heal will be greater than the asins damage. this is known as healing aggro. this can also happen if the tank is being stuned by the NPC and cant inflict damage greater than the fairys heal so the NPC focus is put towards the fairy

now to explane aggro in the easyest way i can with not getting

lets take attacks to be slaps and punchs

on so now if i slap you on the face you will hate me (say 10% hate ) but you will forget about it because it dose not hurt as much
now i i punch you on the face you will hate me alot more (say 80% hate) and will want to punch me back well thats aggro

now when a monk attakcs hes slapping the NPC so the NPC dose not hate him as much but when the asin attacks the NPC he punchs the NPC so over time the asin will hate the asin more which give him more agro
now when the buffs are on the roles swap monk which slaps now punchs ( TP threatical punch ) and the asins slaps (TS thretical slap )
so now the monk attacks the NPC he dose a TP and when the asin attacks he dose a TS but in fact the asin is doing alot more damage over time comparing to the monk
,
now this can also be done with wizards they will do there silance spell which takes off 1741 hate value from the NPC this helps the tank keep aggro

now i will add more parts later with the help of the forum i had to do this 2 times due to having done something stupid to lose the post befor this ><

as far as i know it when a tamers pet is used on the NPC the NPC will target that pet, almost like sacrifce of the monk so i would not use a pet when other tank is holding aggro
Tamers have to slow down there shots to make sure aggro is held to the tank as i see some tamers do they wait only cracking the NPC then after a while they go full out then stop go out of battle then go back in full out ect this way they have a easyer chance not to take aggro from tank.

maybe some tamer players could inlighten us how they do it my tamer is very low still

You forgot about most important monk’ skill for building agro:
Fatal Bash (Staff) - you extra increase agro with every performed hit.

And Mercy is buff lasting 30 min.

Wizards have pretty low dmg with DoT attack, monks burning is far superior comparing to wizards DoT.

there are no aggro/ hate decreasing spells as far as i know Tamers must just cool down there shots a few times so they dont get it

i see alot of times wizards trying to get aggro then when they do the run away

or die becasue they cant hold it

as a DPS class you cant just go in high gear you must let the tank build up aggro. MONKs cant force to hold aggro if the team members dont do what they need to to not take it

true story i was still noob with plus 8 dagger and the tamer was plus 9 or 10 i think being a idiot tamer he goes full out knowing full well that i had to build up alot more attacks to meet his so the idiot tells me its not his problem i dont have strong dagger to hold aggro from him
i should plus more.
that showed me he dose not respect or know how the game works

its a different story when the tank is a sin or monk, when the tank is a monk in my case i just need to wait him to make his first Fatal Bash and then i can go full out ( in CWC ) but if it was a sin i will need to wait a long time, i could wait them 1 min to build up aggro and then start attacking but eventualy i'll get aggro also, so i need to slow down a bit .. a good tip when tank is sin is, wait the 1 min, attack a bit, when u feel its time.. restart client.. you will log back in and ur aggro is reset to 0.. so you can be sure to go full out and not take aggro from sin. ( normaly i keep another client ready so i dont have to wait for it to load .. i relog right away )

Reason i said ( in cwc ) because, outside cwc, theres another factor we need to think of, the lower the level of mob is, the higher dmg tamer is doing, meaning more likely to get aggro, for example on the new level 62 Vet, im taking aggro even from Monk. but in cwc impossible for me to take it even when i go all out after 2 seconds of starting boss

The level of the mob doesnt matter, the defense does.
Bosses in CWC got very high defense, meaning your damage will be pretty low on them.
However a monks fatal bash is fixed aggro, therefore it doesnt matter how much damage they do.

Sins however, also do low damage on CWC bosses.
I personally wouldnt bring a sin as a tank, they just dont work well.

yes thats what i meant, defense.. automaticly by lower level i assume its lower defense, i guess that wasnt accurate :D .. and yea sins are pretty bad tanks because they cant keep aggro, and as you said since fatal bash is fixed aggro and doesnt matter how much dmg they do, when lower level ( lower def etc ) im taking aggro more even from monks since my dmg is going way higher.
